Terms of Service

Last updated September 2026.

These terms govern your booking of cleaning services with The Polished Home ("we," "us," "our"), serving South Surrey, White Rock, Cloverdale, Surrey, Langley, Morgan Creek, and surrounding areas. By submitting a booking, you agree to the terms below.

Our services

We provide residential cleaning services including Weekly Home Care, Deep Clean, Move-Out Clean, Post-Construction Clean, and Home Detox & Air Filter service. All cleaners working under The Polished Home are insured and background-checked.

Booking & pricing

Pricing is based on your home's size and the scope of work, and is confirmed with you before your booking is finalized. There are no hidden fees — the price we quote and confirm is the price you pay for that scope of work.

Deposit & payment

A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due once your clean is complete. For Weekly Home Care clients, this applies to each scheduled visit rather than the plan as a whole.

Cancellations & rescheduling

We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to change or cancel a scheduled clean:

For Weekly Home Care clients, this policy applies only to an already-scheduled visit — you may pause or cancel your ongoing plan at any time with no penalty.

Satisfaction guarantee

If any part of your clean doesn't meet your expectations, contact us within 24 hours and we'll return to re-clean the area at no additional charge.

Access to your home

You're responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to your home at the scheduled time, whether that's being present, providing a key or access code, or another arrangement confirmed with us in advance. We are fully insured and bonded, so you're covered in the unlikely event that anything is damaged during a clean.

Right to refuse or reschedule service

We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking, including in cases involving unsafe conditions, extreme clutter beyond the agreed scope, or circumstances outside our control such as severe weather.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
